THE ART OF PRODUCTION DEBUGGING WITH WINDBG

To put it mildly system administrators hate it when developers put a
full visual studio environment on their production machines. Forced to
debug issues in locked environments is a challenge but there is a
tried and true old school method and that's windbg. In this session
we'll setup some classic product bug scenarios such as deadlocks and
managed leaks and go through the process of capturing and analysing
core dumps. More art than science, core dumps and windbg are a
valuable tool in your arsenal not some scary terminology from the
nuclear age.
